Yes, I like the deal a lot. Ceci is ready to play #3 and Phaneuf is great support for him. It is not like he will be logging the kind of minutes he did with the Leafs.

Zaitzev was named one of the top 2 defensmen at the worlds. He got 3 points. Watch the game instead of the stats maybe you will learn something.

I can't believe that. I didn't even hate Phaneuf as much as some on here and I can't believe that. I've said it before, didn't the Sens get suspicious for a moment when one of their main rivals wanted to send them their captain for basically nothing? Don't the Sens realize how much they helped the Leafs cap situation out by doing that?

be good to see if Perron can outplay Marner in the Mem Cup. Just to see the reactions from Leaves fans to see Ottawa has a prospect on the same level as the 'next one'

Like when Perry outplayed Crosby in the Mem Cup, nobody wanted to admit it, because Crosby had so much glare on him, but it goes to show that these tournaments go a long way to determine the growth of the prospects.
