To be fair, Carle has been pretty awful
- PhillySportsGuy

He always was awful. He played with Pronger here which made him look better.

That was a killer loss for Pittsburgh.

Like, a punch in the nuts kind of loss.

Remember being really excited about MAB?
- PhillySportsGuy

He at least got a cup of coffee with the flyers. Trading up in the 2nd round to get Kevin Marshall was considered a stroke of genius.

At home, up 2 goals, and a full lineup except Daley. Big loss for Pitt.

What does he do with his goaltenders now?

Does he go back to Murray after this? Or does he ride with MAF, who was kinda shaky?

That'd be nice.......I like Max Jones and he'd be one I'd consider at 18 but he's more a power forward............but there could still be size, speed, & skill available.

Dunno. Created quite the situation by playing MAF. If you don't go back to him, his confidence will take a hit. But Murray got them this far, even with some shaky play himself in this series. I'd probably go Murray...

But the Elephant in the room is the superstar talent that is playing rather run of the mill. When you have Crosby, Malkin and Letang in your lineup (and Kessel, who is scoring some nice goals) while playing a Lightning team without Stamkos and Bishop, shouldn't you be a lock for the finals?

Agree.

I have Bellows at the top of my list of guys that might be there at 18. Jones would be 2nd.

I'd go back to Murray.
Also, I wouldn't have started Fleury last night.

Elimination game. In TB. You just told Murray you thought Fluery could give your team a spark and that didn't work out. Lot of pressure on Murray. I know he has been playing well.

I would almost stay with Fleury but I think they will go back to Murray.

I still think whoever comes out of the west will win the cup.

This is where I stand also. Murray should have started last night now Sullivan has a mess that he could have easily solved by playing Murray and only going to MAF after a second bad game from Murray.

Maybe...or the team goes out and wins like St. Louis did. It was largely the same move by the coaches that had different results. Fleury has had less action than Allen though

Watching them blow a 2-0 and 3-2 lead at home was like bathing in the tears of my enemies.
