It has for the most part agree. Megadeth has been much more consistent over their careers where Metallica has pretty much sputtered since And Justice for All. Black album yielded some good tunes (not the radio crap ones) and everything after that has been pretty disappointing. Although Death Magnetic had a few decent tracks.

Having said that Metallica has produced epic albums in the metal genre where Megadeth just never got there. Megadeth never had a 'Ride the Lightning' or 'Master of Puppets' to a point but were close.

Megadeth never really had a run like Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and even And Justice for all. But those are really all the Metallica albums one needs to own. With Megadeths consistency over time you could easily buy every album and find tracks that are strong and good.

Benning's moves have been pretty good despite where the team is. If we are bottom 5 I bet they give Benning another year or two…Desjardins will be another story...

Lucic at 3 years would be just fine. He's a perennial 20 goal 50 pt guy…and only 27 years old. A little slow sure but a presence we could use and build around.

But he will most likely want 5+ years and we'll need to stay away.

This would be fine and I think it needs to happen. JV of course being the maybe as if he has a stellar camp and start to the year they will keep him up again. At least we'll have Higgins and Burrows if JV and JM are in Utica…

Most fans here r reasonable & pragmatic.
Those wanting GM's to come & go r hardly true fans & with little patience.
Those thinking a retool/rebuild means a GM needs 5 yrs min to show his worth.
As for WD its about how the new core emerges & how well he develops the kids. Xmas will be his next assessment date. If we suck he could be gone if no signs of real improvement is my guess.
