Fair enough. I've been thinking about it more in terms of the questions of who deserves to be picked first overall and who will have the better career long term. That'd be interesting to me no matter who holds the pick, same as it was in 2014 in Florida and all the years in Edmonton. - Carol Schram
Whoever goes first will no doubt have their career follow the same disappointing road as so many other people who end up playing in Toronto. I feel sad for whoever gets drafted first. |

KIRO News/Sports is my TV choice these days. In the future when i'm forced to watch TSN/Sportsnet it will be on my terms. No audio, I will tune in when the game I want to watch is ON, no waiting anymore. Not that this makes any difference in the grand scheme of things, just my way of saying FU to the east coast networks. |

All I've got to say is thank God for PVR's! You can FF thru the crap and just enjoy the game. I no longer even have TSN or Sportsnet saved as a fav on my computer. ESPN or The Score along with MLB & NFL for sports news. |

He does.
And he still has a massive West coast Vancouver bias... |

I don't....I hope they get impatient again and trade young star players for veterans to try and win now
Vinny Damphousse and Eddie Olczyk come to mind. They drafted Vinny and he was just lights out good for them for five years, scored 94 points as a 21 year old then 74 points as a 22 year old...so what do they do with their number one center? Trade him to Edmonton for Grant Fuhr and Glen Anderson
Sorry I couldn't help myself...I blame Carol for today's piss on Toronto topic |

FLA changes continue. Hearing team fired Scott Luce, who ran organization's very successful drafts of past few years. He will be in demand |

Agreed.
I made a similar comment last year during the SCF and was mocked by Chicago fans because "he's not as good as Keith"...

Why are there all these management rumors and changes??
Aren't these the things that made the team successful?
Maybe they should hire Roland Melanson?
Or trade for the twins... |

Word is Talon is not high on paperwork, contract negotiations and such, a President of Hockey Ops is exactly what he wanted.
That positions filled here. |

I wouldn't say no.
Would JB be happy to be demoted, like, so soon after being hired as GM?

Aside from drafting and assessing talent, he knows his skills as a gm are lacking. His ability to trade as well as sign contracts are horrid. If he needs to be demoted to get someone better suited for both those tasks, so be it. |

Horrid is an overstatement.
I don't believe u understand how hard it is to trade nowadays.
I have seen no bad trades when trading middlin type players.
Worst trade was for Ladd..easily. |
