I'm not over what Regher did to Hemsky, so...probably not going to happen soon. |

So with what Deboer has done with the Sharks, does everyone still think Todd Maclellan is the greatest coach in the world, or was he the problem there? |

Deboer is a very good coach when he has veteran players that buy into his system. Problem with Deboer is typically his handling of younger players. He's a great fit for the Sharks. |

He disappears too often. For a guy with size and skill, he plays a game where he can score, hit and fight, but then he will go 25 games straight and do none of those things.
Good luck, hope he stays sober. |

Sharks haven't won anything yet, and with Jumbo Joe blabbing to the World how great he is, he likely just jinxed his SC chance. |

He was my most hated player in the league until he got traded to us. Now he's one of my favorites. Might even get his jersey. |

I dunno
St.loo has the same coach and have won 2 rounds
I kinda think it's as much luck and confidence as anything else. Getting past the Kings probably gave them a ton of confidence and they're riding the wave
In past years they just flat out lost to better teams I think. Cup winning kings- Hawks- best team in the league at the time Canucks etc
Burns dominating has been pretty huge for them too I guess |

Burns is an absolute beast! Love that guy. I would offer him big money next offseason if San Jose doesn't have the cap room to keep him around. |

Agreed
He's ridiculously talented offensively and can dominate physically.
I'd like to see his qualcomp in relation to vlasic who probably gets the tougher minutes, but no matter really. Burns is a true 1 and can dominate games |

No problem. Took a team with veterans to the cup finals in 2012.
Team turned the page after Kovy, Parise, Clarkson left, Salvador retired, etc.
The only players 30 or older under contract with the Devils as of July 1st are Zajac, Greene, Schneider and Cammalleri. Hynes is the right guy now. |

Yeah, same as my buddy. He hated him for what he did to Sam Gagner. And now he's cheering for the guy. |

Huh? He was a fringe player that never transitioned his Jr skills into anything but the "tough guy" role.
If he stays clean, he'll be an ok 4th line guy. Bollig, Ott et al. Good on the Oilers for believing in him... |
