Im thinking this is the most likely one. He wants to be out east, if you can get some sort of assurance from his agent on an extension it could work out.

The Faulk one 89 mentioned is interesting too. They scouted the canes quite often during the season even when they didnt have games coming up against them.

Good call, I forgot about that. I'd rather have Faulk. He's younger, he's better and he still has 4 years left at less than $5M. The price is going to be astronomical.

I was being a smartass. It's always what the team that's doing well right now has. It's size when the Blues are wrecking poop in the early rounds. It's speed when it's the Sharks and Lightning and Pens. You need to have both. You need a very good 1D, a very good 1C and a goalie that's playing extremely well. You need 3 lines going at any one time. You need to be healthy.

You need to have a good, well rounded team that gets its share, and some of the other guys as well, of bounces. And you need to stay healthy.

The Hawks have always been a fast team, and they have won 3 of 6 cups.

Rangers have been a very fast team and have been to at least the conference finals the three years prior.

I have no clue why they would move Faulk now. They are building a solid blue line.

I'm guessing someone like #23 would have to go the other way

That's like saying we never needed Ennis cause we had Gerbe. Skinner is underrated, would score 30-35 a year on Eichel's wing.

Wouldn't mind seeing Skinner next to Eichel. Not my first choice, but if the price is right.

Eberle did great things next to McDavid. I'm sure he could do similar with Eichel.

I was all set to post how he's always hurt...then I did this crazy thing and looked it up. :D (He's missed 16 games total over the last 3 seasons - 0 last year)

What happened to them this year that he took such a big jump forward? Went from 18 goals to 28, and also getting 10 additional assists as well.

Last year he had a down year, pretty sure he had a shoulder issue. If a player has a bad season this fanbase is ready to throw them out the door.....
