Absolutely could ditch him. Have to take money back in a deal with him though.

Long story short. (frank) all would've changed had we not got rid of Dion and Phil at least. Wouldn't get Stammer, wouldn't get Matthews, probably not even Mike. Same old poop would've happened for 7 more years and we'd all be safe in the knowledge our two highest paid players were Phil and Dion and that they were oh ever so slightly overpaid for players in their 30's that have lead the club to the same results the previous decade.

Amen, playing just terrible. Holy crap basketball is frustrating, we could easily be winning this game.

Lot of conspiracy theories and crazy talk in here tonight. I'll try to provide a little good news from some grade 8 kids.

Backstory my son had a birth defect that was supposed to prevent him from ever walking. He had a surgery done before he was born that allows him to walk and run. He doesn't do either well but he's a trooper and has the heart of a lion.

Today was track and field day at the public school and when I got home he was wearing a first place ribbon proud as a freaking peacock. He got it from the 100 yard dash and he was fully aware that the other kids purposely sandbagged it so he could win as he over heard them whispering. I asked him if it bothered him that they let him win his response was, if they think enough of me to let me win a race I'll think enough of them to wear this proudly.

When it was presented I guess he got a standing O. Pretty cool group of kids.

That article was pretty far out there.

I liked (I mean loved Grabbo and Ian White). Glad as (frank) they are gone though. The thing with the Kessel trade is the big picture. That, along with the Clarkson and Dion deals have helped this club immensely going forward.

What were we gonna do. Have Kessel play out these 3 or 4 seasons for poops and giggles and then trade him after 3 more subpar seasons?
