I'm just worried about him coming because remember what happened when we invited Andrew W.K. to one of our games so that he could party with us when we scored a goal? - Victoro311
HBK is going to be a -10 or something |

right?
when you can give up 4 and still have a save percentage over 900, your team is getting you railed. and a lot of his saves were top notch. and its not like any of the goals were total garbage.
he's a stud. and he is going to keep this going touhave it like gh. only way to do it is to just have it like tonight. keep peppering. - stayinthefnnet
so that probably makes Bishop expendable...maybe more defense is on the way in the future for the Bolts |

Hes been cheering and adding hype for this entire series... So its not a jinx if hes already been made relevant.
Hell, our 46-0 after 2 isn't a jinx when we mention it every game. (frank) jinxes. |

So... anyone know where I could find that Kessel interview to watch again?
Friend of mine only had radio for this game, so they didn't get it.... They must see it! |

Replacing Maatta with Schultz has been very important. Schultz has brought life to a stale PP... Once again, Murray was solid... Our speed is taking its toll on the Tampa D... Take game 4 and the Lightning will pack it in... |

the bolts are absolutely stacked as far as assets go up and down the organizational cupboard.
im sure one of their fans could speak to their minors a lot better than i could. but still. this team is lethal, and their top line superstar captain isnt even out there right now.
could move one of these goalies for something nice too. just a ton of young cheap talent. wonder if they get picked on in the expansion stuff |

Yes. Bishop, Andersen, and Fleury are all probably donezo in the near future. Vasi, Gibson, and Murray are all studs. Funny how they've all started goalie controversies by age 21. They'll all be seeing eachother in the Olympics in due time. |

and he dropped so many EHs. his awkardness is unreal.
but whatever. dude got absolutely leveled and ate it like a hot dog, got up and continued firing. he was all over the ice. even on that PP, just having him on the other side opens up lanes.
on another note, it sucks hes pretty lost every where else on the ice, because schultz is very nice on the PP there. - stayinthefnnet
What?
I thought Schultz had a very nice game. Carried the puck well, was patient, physical against the forecheck, just a solid game.

yeah, schultz looked very lost at times, but i have to imagine maatta would have been caught flat footed many times tonight.
honestly, id rather have schultz out there than letang on the PP. |

Yeah hes awkward... awkward people HATE interviews, and the media. They say hes the quiet dude who cracks jokes on the side, I'd expect him to be bad on camera. As long as hes good on ice, we're fine |

to be honest, there was one play in front of the net that i dont know if it was schultz or cole. but there was an awful turnover at point blank.
i may be unfairly attributing it to schultz.
im with you with him as far as the PP is concerned though. you can see the instincts. and the shot. hard. often. on net. simple, good, fast decisions. |

The Tampa D really wore down this game. After game one I was a little worried, the big D with long reach were really disrupting our game, but now they look tired. |

yeah i thought Stralman would make a big difference for them but it has been the exact opposite. Maybe he is still getting the rust off, but more likely the Pens are just that much better. |

Actually Stralman was one of their best players in Game 2 I thought. |

Kessel is just awesome! Its great to see an interview like that where you can tell he is super excited and happy. For years he had to deal with all the TO media bs so he deserves all the good that comes his way. Most fans were ok but the media there was just terrible. I mean, how great would it be to see him win the Conn Smythe in his first year after leaving TO.
Really noticing the Pens doing a much better job of putting themselves in shooting positions. Kessel and Kunitz goals were just perfect examples. The really exciting thing is that Malkin hasnt broken out yet. He is showing big time flashes like he always does when he is about to go on a hot streak. |

That's on both of them but I attribute you to lack of time playing together. Overall his game has been a plus since taking over for Maatta.

Congrats, and best of luck. Really excited to see Cal Petersen in a Sabres uniform one day. I know goalies are hard to judge early in their careers but he really looks like he could be something special. |
