They didn't screw around with bridge deals for Henrique or Larsson and it's worked out, they shouldn't do it with Palmieri either offer him either 5 years for 25 million or 6 years for 30 million. This team has plenty of cap space but not many goal scorers. Why (frank) around just get it done.

You guys are high if you think Palmieris agent is going to allow him to sign for any less than 5 mil a year unless we are talking about a 1-2 year contract. He's now a 30 goal scorer that is two years away from UFA status, if you want to buy a few of those UFA years it's going to cost a minimum of 5 per.

It doesn't matter if people think it's unreasonable to pay him 5mil. Cost is not set by reason; it's set by what people are willing to pay - and someone will be happy to pay him that if we don't.

So, if we want him long-term, the cost will likely be in that range.
