No one ever had Reinhardt as Shea Weber.. ever.. there was hope He could develop into a Pronger type player b/c of his size. (bottom line is he was way too slow, very frustrated with how much farther his little brother's NHL career was moving along as his was progressing much slower, and Snow made a very good trade to get Barzal and essentially bouv for him and a second.

Weber may have been thrown around for Pulock as a dream hope b/c of the 100+ mph slap shot. Again.. this is an Islander's board where we sometimes dream big about our prospects. that is what fans do on THEIR boards.

Ho Sang seems to have finally stopped being a dope. maybe he will turn into something great. maybe he will just be an extra piece in a big trade. The bottom line is while Bouv, Ho Sang, Dal Colle and Barzal all may not be top 6 NHL players. We certainly have a decent chance of one or 2 of them being really good.

Lets just put it this way, I believe Rangers fans have a right to be excited to see how Buchnevich plays considering he is rated pretty high and has shown some great skill, as much as you guys should be excited to see Barzal play.

No one is making any wild predictions, or saying Buchnevich is going to be a star. Just nice to see a touted prospect possibly join the team.
