Dubois if we use the pick. Or trade down and draft a d-man, but that wont help the team for 3-4 years. Heard rumblings (likely wishful thinking) of a deal including the 4th for Faulk, possibly Yak and other things involved.

I don't think I've ever seen either of Dubois or Tkachuk play but Tkachuk scares me as he's on a stacked team with a stacked line.

Not a huge assumption to say McDavid won't suffer another long term injury next year. Most players get through most seasons without major injuries.

I'd wonder if Chia can try to acquire Marcus Johansson in a deal that involves Yakupov. I'd be fine with that. A line involving Ovi-Backstrom-Yak would be very interesting to see as well, especially with Backstrom as the playmaker and Ovi+Yak as the snipers.

Why would Washington get rid of their own center depth? Johansson is a consistent 45 point producer for them and they aren't in any cap trouble. And they definitely aren't doing it for Yakupov.
