Hall will be traded unless a package of lower end players, farm prospects and the #4 pick get what they want.
Chia traded Seguin so the #1 pick in that draft could go too. |

Hall won't be traded. Especially with the chemistry him and McDavid are building together at the world's. Hall will only go if the defenceman we get is elite. |

Hall isn't getting traded.
Nuge is not likely but may be.

He isn't the greatest guy off ice. That's why he could be available for the right defenceman. |

Read through a bunch of oil blogs and msm articles...
It's become abundantly clear that Willis is the only really good Oilers writer out there. Continues to write solid unbiased stuff. I don't always 100% agree with him but he doesn't make poop up to try to shove his opinion down your throat either like most do...cough Matt cough...

Nope. RNH doesn't leave much a hole you can't fill in free agency. 3C's are easy to find and they don't cost 6m a year. - Jeropotato
Assuming Draisaitl can fill the role of 2C consistently all season, big assumption.
Also assuming McD doesn't go down with another injury next season, big assumption.
Wouldn't be banking my season on those two things. Could easily turn out like the season before last when the Oil didn't have a 2C until they picked up Roy. |

I think perception. and the possibility of reaching another level or two
And being a center (which has some truth to it, but as I've mentioned before, the whole center value vs worthless winger value thing hae gotten ridiculous.
But yeah, there's nothing he's really done thus far that make him better or more valuable in a tangible sense than eberle. It's crazy how quickly we forget seasons of 76, 65, 63 and on pace for another 63 during lockout. And he's more durable
Not saying we certainly shouldn't trade him, just that it's pretty obvious perception does not always equal reality - HB77
Nuge contributes in some way whether it's on the score sheet or not, night in and night out. Ebs is far less consistent in that regard. He is streaky and when he is cold he is invisible. When Nuge is cold he is still playing an important shut-down role and effectively taking on tough assignments. |

such a mouth breather post |

Ebs is one of the softest players in the league, terrible defensively.
Nuge is a solid two-way guy. Invaluable to teams with success. Still has room in his ceiling if he could stay healthy for a season... Reminds me a lot of Stastny.
Would much rather trade Ebs than Nuge, but depends on the return. |

Hopefully Nuge is the 2C and Drai takes Eberle's spot on wing. |

That was in response to Jero saying Nuge doesn't leave much of a hole.
I'd like to see
Hall - Nuge - Drais
Pou - McD - Yak
Use Ebs and 4th OA as trade bait. |

Love it except for the bolded. With his trade request I'm not sure he'll be around. Would be surprised if he is actually. |

Don't think he can get anything in a trade right now. Especially with the Russian team coach coming out and saying he has multiple injuries right now. |

If he plays on that line all year he actually might bring in a decent return at the trade deadline. Actually (frank), if he gets top 6 minutes next to McD why would he want to leave? |

Zhamnov didn't want to say out of respect to the Oilers he claims. I don't know how to post an article but Staples wrote one the other day about it. Yak claims it's bullpoop |
