That would be fantastic to get a player that good in a later round. That's the reason the Oilers haven't progressed. They do well in the first round, but not in later rounds, finding diamonds in the rough.
All of this talk about Liane is ridiculous? Do you really think that someone's going to pay a Kings ransom for a winger? Centers and defensemen are at a premium in the draft. Liane may be a great scorer, but what about his all around game? I'll take Matthews, thanks to his status as a prototypical power center. |
