I always wanted Kessel to succed in Pitts..but since the Leafs got #1 ..I dont care if the pens pick is 25 or 30... Kessel winning would be great

All good. When the first few days of free agency are over it seems like forever before training camp starts up again, particularly this year when we all think camp will be very competitive at all three positions. Really the only guys who are locks to make the team are Kadri, JVR, Rielly, Gardiner and maybe Hunwick and Komarov.

Which says a lot about why we finished 30th.

Rough transition year.....but he's on a roll right now.
Still one of the best scorers in the league.

I expect to see a couple more guys on 1 year deals and few PTO guys in camp.

I won’t venture a guess as to who… I think most if not all of last year’s free agent signings surprised me.

No one is stressing...but the sh1tty kessel deal would look a little better if it was a 18-23rd pick....instead of 27th to 30th...would have been easier to move a bit.

when Kessel was struggling a bit earlier in the season so many people in here said he was done. Kessel is streaky, once he heats up look the (frank) out...
