Has speed, grit and has hands when he uses them. We always go and get a useless dope to play on our 4th line with stone hands. Brashear, Orr, Shelly, Boogard, Glass etc. why not put a guy on the 4th line that at least has the POTENTIAL to do something. A guy like Kassian would be great IMO.
He also had an addiction problem that he apparently took care of which is why he might have been bounced around so much. |

A 4th line of Kassian Helm C.Stewart would be a threat IMO. Also those guys can slide down if needed. |

he probably shouldn't of been drafted where he was making him seem like a flop |

Hitchcock is getting fired, you don't make a goalie change this deep in the playoffs |

I would love him on the 4th line. I read about it somewhere his addiction but he said he's glad he hit the bottom and is focused back on hockey.
He has size, speed, hands and grit. |

I love Boyle's hatred of the Penguins, this is how you beat them, can't change a tiger's stripes, they're sore losers who implode |

I've always been all for buying 4th line players but at some point you need to go cheap there with in house guys. This team has to save every penny at the moment. You can do that with hrivik for example. Lindberg injury kinda puts that in flux a bit tho. But regardless, they really to focus on going cheap under a mill a guys there. Nothing against the players you mention, just have to be smarter with the funds and cap. You see it with Glass, who I refuse to kill generally, where his salary really handcuffs them and just adds to an already tight cap
Hrivik- a healthy Lindberg- and maybe one UFA like Martin or Weise would be the route I go. Guys that kill penalties too we need |

Rule #62...
http://nypost.com/2016/05...l-hagelin-giant-backfire/ - 21peter
The Idea that hags is the axiom of pitts play is simply not watching ..
Pitt & Sully went with his guys in late dec./jan.....
Rust sheary 4th liner lst name with a D all played in minors w/Sully
He wnet speed & back check D .... Just like they did when they won in 09'
Hags came in to be last piece to puzzle ... it was pitts 3rd line at time
Crosby hornyquist
Gino Kunitz
Bonino Hags
Kessler was slotted with top 2 but each line took rust & sheary & kessler feel back 3rd line which became there top line in Feb-Mar
they had the best match ups after opposition matched up against Sid & Gino
D plan is to get puck out to center ice as fast as possible & we can recoup & attack ... dont fight in corners ..get puck up walls & out to counter ...
workin out well But I want S J to win cup so i dont lament over what if s if
TB or Pitt win outta east ... would make me sick......

yeah, I definitely am rooting for San Jose to win it all, nobody on them that any Rag$ fan can cry about

Other than not acquiring Thornton or Marleau in a trade, which had been rumored at several different times. |

What would be the issue with the Blues? Not trading for Shattenkirk?
Also I figured most fans of Metro division teams were on board with root for Tampa, then root for whoever comes out of the west. |

not drafting Tarasenko and drafting McIlrath
I actually used to be somebody who would have rooted for Cally, Stralman and all the rest of the former Rangers to win, but the way Ranger fans make it torture now when one of our former players does well I just can't anymore |

Never rooting for that guy. It's a shame because San jose is a team that seems likable minus Thornton and Deboer |

it seems to change on a daily basis as to how many teams are on Rick Nash NTC approved list, but this write up says 12
http://fulltiltnyr.com/te...-rick-nashs-availability/ - jimbro83
It's funny how people on here say Nash has no trade value and then u read an article like that where teams are calling asking about his availability. Teams that have the cap room are willing to take a chance on a player 1 season removed from a 40 goal season and these nonsense "you'll be lucky if u get X for him is just that, nonsense. |

a lot of this just comes from the usual anti-NY Ranger hatred sentiment
Rick Nash is gonna be good next year, I guarantee it. Whether it's for the Rangers or someone else remains to be seen.

Some of it comes from thus board as well. I would find a team interested in Nash and lower the price if they'd be willing to take Girardi. A guy I like to replace him is Petrovic. FLA could be willing to move him bc they have Kulikov/Ekbald/Gudbranson and could play on the 3rd pair on the right side without worrying about playing against the top lines or 20+ minutes a night. Could do wonders for helping his game.
Maybe Nash and Girardi for Petrovic and a pick or prospect. |
