If the right deal is there, I'm ok with it. I would rather he just plays out his contract though. Still think he never gets enough credit with fans.

it really could end up being that 2014 will be our best chance at winning the Cup for many years and Nash going 5 games without a point in the finals, including 3 double overtimes, is never going to get forgiven no matter how unfair it is

You know me, and I think this is the first off season where most, not even sure if it's the majority, have wanted him gone. If anything, he's gotten more of a pass for years from our crazy fans then anyone in a long time. This is how I look at it, for all the poop Boyle got, I personally didn't expect much from him. He was killed relentlessly. But Nash, getting paid what he does, having to be a go to guy with scoring doesn't get the same heat. I just don't get the mentality of that. And nothing against you my brotha, but in general I just don't get the logic where one guy gets all the shyt and the one that should doesn't get nearly enough of it. Same with Glass, like he's suppose to be the guy that makes a difference. Nash is supposed to and gets paid to be a difference maker

Unfortunately you are correct. Although I'm going to blame Girardi for tripping over his own feet for that series loss.

Welcome to fandom TJ.

I try to look at it as a team thing and never really blame 1 particular player. Only person I really dogged was E. Staal, and for good reason. Although I should blame Gorton for that more than anyone.

I thought the Glass signing when it happened was absurd, still think it was, but I have supported him most of the time and have not minded him in the lineup at all this year.

As far as Boyle, I think it was more that he was supposed to anchor the PP and came in with that expectation.

I think Nash gets tons of crap honestly, some of it definitely deserved. He got killed last year and the year before. This year he was injured a lot, so hard to kick a guy when he is down.

I hate fans haha

Another I thing I hate, before a new guy even puts on the Ranger uniform, opinions are made that are just awful. No one is given a chance which I'm sure, players see which maybe even puts pressure on them that's undeserving.

The most frustrating thing about Nash is, you see this guy in the reg season and he can be dynamic...but once April rolls around it's a diff player. Wether he's scared of it or what I have no idea, all I know is I'm sick of looking at his unemotional face

It all to me depends on what the plan is. I have no problem moving players like Girardi, Staal, or Nash if it makes sense. But don't see a point just to move them to move them.

And I can totally understand that. Even I get frustrated with playoff Nash. I guess I put a lot into the regular season too. I think a lot of fans like(TPC), no offense Matt, just want to get to the post season. I think this year proved, we better care how they are playing during the regular season, or at least going into the playoffs(Pitt). Even though they hit the 100 point mark, it honestly didn't feel like the team played all that well and that it just wasn't meshing this year. Felt like a strange year.

The Martinez shaft block on Nash said it all. I still can't understand how that puck didn't go in..

Or was it Voynov and Martinez got the GWG. (frank) it, it doesn't matter..

It was Voynov, but yes that's the epitome of Nash. If he's on any other team it's a goal this year vs Pitt it was 4-2 game 5, and basically the same thing happen..wide open net, no goal, Pitt scores right after. Oy the pain

He has been snake bit ill give him that, he's had chances

Well if they keep him, maybe they can LTIR him right before the playoffs and open up some cap space and bring someone in for the playoffs.

That's why I remember saying 2 years ago to enjoy it, but we had to win it, cause being that close to the Stanley Cup no matter how bright your future seems is no gimme your ever going to make it back again. The old Dan Marino adage in Football w his SB 19 loss.

Strange things happen in the playoffs, things that never seem to make sense & when you get that close to the Cup, you have to take advantage.

that would be funny to see all the people come out of the woodwork who claimed they always loved Nash and never wanted him traded

I'll sign a waiver if it means getting him out of here
