It's a good idea for us to come up with teams that Nash would be traded too. And come up with some trade for him..my 2 cents..

Tronna - bozak
Chicago - Bickell and Shaw
California teams
Fla teams and a couple more

What are the chances we could package Nash and Girardi to FLA for Petrovic?

Zero. You really think Florida is going to add 13.5 million in salary and give you back a 24 year old RHD.

I think you can get a return for Nash, but trying to add Girardi is probably a no go for most teams.

Yea good one, Detroit slipped my mind lol

I think the perfect fit would be western conference team looking maybe to shake things up a tad. Chicago looking to get rid of Bickell for obvious reasons would fit, but we'd need to get a roster player back with him for it to make sense taking on his money. Shaw is someone I'd love to get. Wonder how they feel about Teravainen (sp?) at the moment. He seems to be a bit of a disappointment there. Ultimately, to unload Nash, they're gonna have to take a bad contract back or just pay some of his money and I'd prefer a player then dead money somewhere

Bickell and either TT or Shaw id do pretty quickly

How do the penalties work for that? I'm still very confused by that

Bickell's buyout would only be a cap hit of a million this coming season and 1.5 million n next season. Actually I betcha Blackhawks will do that themselves

2/3 the remaining salary spread out over twice the term. Unless it's severely front loaded or had a bunch of signing bonuses. Bickell actually wouldn't be that harsh of a buy out.

In before RD says I wouldn't be that harsh of a buy out. Jabroni.

Yeah, but at this point Bickell is a slightly more talented and severely more expensive Tanner Glass.

what sucks about a Glass buyout is that the cap hit is like 765K, which is the same as the cap hit they'd have if they send him to the AHL anyway

Another prediction...Nash gets traded and whoever gets him wins the cup next year and Nash is Conn Smythe winner with 15 playoff goals haha. And it's Hagelin all over again

that would be funny to see all the people come out of the woodwork who claimed they always loved Nash and never wanted him traded
