Buschemi always looked terrible. Even in early roles like Resvervoir Dogs. That is 1 ugly man. Howie Rose might be more handsome than Buschemi. |

5/20/16 | 12:26PM: Elliotte Friedman was on the radio in Buffalo today and was asked if he thinks Rick Nash could be traded by the Rangers because of their cap situation. (Nichols on Hockey)
Friedman said that he does and that, in general, this could be a "crazy off-season" with a lot of names being thrown around and discussed. (Nichols on Hockey)
He said that the Rangers are likely at a crossroads of sorts and notes that Nash does have some protection in his contract of where he could go. (Nichols on Hockey)
Friedman said that if the Rangers found a place where Nash might be willing to go, " I could definitely see the possibility that they try and move him. Absolutely." (Nichols on Hockey)
TSN's Craig Button was on the Rangers Blue Line Podcast and spoke about how there isn't much value in Nash's contract and added " I don't know how you get rid of the contract. Maybe you take something back, maybe it's a switch"
Adam Rotter: When it comes to Nash, I think it's how much do the Rangers value him, how much do other team's value him and what, if any, deal is there to be made. The Rangers aren't getting a hot-shot young forward for Nash, especiallly at 32 and because the Rangers really only gave up Brandon Dubinsky and Artem Anisimov to get Nash. Are the Rangers willing to eat some money to move Nash? Are they willing to give it one more go and then likely see him get claimed in an expansion draft the next year? There are a lot of questions with Nash and monitoring his situation will be one of the most interesting aspects of the Rangers offseason.

I say 1 more go. Rangers will not get back the value. Don't care what anyone says. |

Friedman is wrong about a NMC though. It's a 8-10 team NTC, it went to that last July |

I think Nash is probably the easiest move for the Rangers to open up space. Just two years remaining on contract and may actually get something decent back rather than having to eat salary. |

I can't see a team taking his cap, unless the Rangers retain some. So in reality, what UFA out there would replace Nash with the cap amount that would be left over? Also really depends if the Rangers are keeping the 3(Miller/Kreider/Hayes) and what their raises will be. Gonna be a crazy off season. |

I would hope you're right, but Rangers would need a really good 2 way forward and a very good PK'er to replace what they lose in Nash. And lets just say our PK wasn't a strong spot this last season. |

You've got to figure with the Kadri extension, Komarov and the pending Auston Matthews draft they will be looking to deal him. He's kind of Travis Zajac light, could play 3rd line minutes and eat a bunch of PK time. |

Would just need to pick up someone else for 1st or 2nd line minutes with the cap savings. Probably not going to find a 1st line winger, Just move Miller up. Zucc/Brass/Miller,
Kreider/Stepan/? |

Stempniak will be out there and he has a stated preference to return to the NY area. People will laugh but Stempniak has performed everywhere he was been given top 6 minutes. |

the Isles would be wise to sign him because he'll score at least 10 goals in all the games vs the Rangers |

Maybe this is the year the Rangers don't look for the "name" and find players that would work in the system. Whatever happens, its going to be interesting. |
