Maybe shed Arniel and rehire Tom Renney as assistant coach. Renney was great at developing the young players.

Was against the Staal and the Yandle trade .. Maybe just maybe if they didn't trade most of their pick and a few prospects the Rangers wouldn't have to look to other teams to fill in its holes .... Thanks for bring up my age , now I'll go thru the day thinking I'm old

Staal I didn't like at all. Yandle, I talked myself into at the time of the trade.

Yeah, other than maybe 2 games in the regular season, he was a complete failure.

My hope is they force AV's hand a bit on playing/trusting young guys more this year. I wanna see as many young guys on the roster as possible this year. time to use some cheap contracts and let some guys grow and see what we got.

This fanbase is too impatient to deal with young players' growing pains

Look at Hayes. Kid has a great rookie season and has us talking about how he could be a bonafide 1C for us within a few years. He goes to have a sophomore slump which is extremely common and people are ready to throw him to the wolves.

Anyone with a head that small and a helmet that big deserves to be a failure.

fack the fan base

Ill admit I wanted to see Lindberg in for Hayes at points this year but that's still another young guy going in.

Debatable. I was more on the "play Staal as the 3C so we have Stepan Brassatd Staal down the middle and move Hayes to the wing to accommodate that" over "(frank) Hayes"

I flagged this by accident, but it may have just been a Freudian slip-of-the-finger

You guys will end up with one of Demers or Goligoski
- eichiefs9

I am ok with Demers. Goligoski is a big defensive liability and is 33 years old.

Huge part of that was what line he was saddled with. He had good chemistry with Lindberg and Stalberg but Vigneault never kept that line together.

Overall we have probably one of the worst fan bases in sports. Nothing to do with being loyal either.

What's the saying? Talk like Yankee fans, history like Mets fans? Something like that.
