I meant that grinder was trying to get a rise and not worth responding to. - Victoro311
That makes more sense. On another note I thought lovejoy had a really solid game. Maybe Rutherford isn't half bad. What a difference a year makes |

Yes. He is very, very good. Before this year, Vaselevskiy and Gibson were the next big thing. I think Murray has joined them in that eschelon now. - Victoro311
Agreed. All three are legit. I think Vaselevskiy was forgotten about a little bit. |

Flower makes big saves bc he is out of position and has to stretch back to make it...
If it's me.. I'm trading DP for drouin lol - nh4442
When he was suspended and at home mid season that MIGHT have gone down; wishful thinking now. |

It's cus he's playing behind a deserving Vezina candidate. No one but us would be talking about Murray all that much if MAF hadn't gotten hurt either. The reason why Gibson gets talked about as much as he does is because he's in a time share over in his crease because he's already as good as Andersen. All three are on the same level though, regardless of hype. |

Thats the only possible conclusion one can come too while Fleury is on the bench. We are winning in sspite of murray. - Grinder47
In the playoffs, that is all that matters. If you give up 85 goals a game but the team wins in front of you, that's all that matters.
It's like a pitcher's win/loss record. A pitcher can have the lowest ERA on the team, but that doesn't mean he'll have the most wins as well. Sometimes, teams just play better with a certain pitcher or, in this case, goalie. It shouldn't be that way and shouldn't matter, but it does matter. |

It would have been a done deal if DP was a RHD. But, then again we might not have done that trade then anyway if he was a RHD.

Dumo-Pouliot
That would be what our future top 4 would look like
Drouin was the only player I wanted to move DP for though.. |

Agreed. All three teams have very good starting goalies. One things for sure though, when Bishop is 100% he will be back in. |

How about for Connor McDavid? I think there's a few others I'd move him for, too.

I will say this: Murray has been good (not great, but good) overall, but that Drouin shot, while a great shot, has to be stopped. |

He's just trying to get a rise. Murray will continue to develop and I still have every confidence in him but he has definitely started to cool down. I don't think Sully can will make the switch after a game he only gave up two goals in and won. Not sure he should either because that sends an odd message. I'm just worried that Murray is headed towards a big stinker, and this far into a game it would really suck if we dropped a game we should have won due to goaltending. - Victoro311
I think Murray's leash is as long as two softies in row. |

I figured, you know what I mean though. Both guys were on the same trade level at the time. |

Ridiculous shot. That kid is flying around out there. Would have LOVED to have stolen him from Tampa.. Someone has to catch him with his head down (like last series) and be rough on the boards with him like teams are with Letang. Can't give this guy time and space. |

Then he didn't give up another one for 51 minutes and I thought we had a ton of good chances. |

No use crying over spilled milk at this point, but how was that hit by Callahan not suspendable? Not only did he board him, he basically forced his neck directly into the boards. That's how someone gets paralyzed, and Letang looked like he was out cold for a moment.
I mean, it's the DOPS we're talking about, so I'm not surprised...but then again, I am surprised. |

Haven't watched much of Nichushkin, know he's a big body though. Is he fast enough to keep up in our system? From the little I can remember he is.
At the time, a Drouin for DP swap was almost perfect. We needed (and still do) a LW |

You basically already said it. Ridiculous that he didn't get suspended, but at least he sat out last night so it's kind of the same.. |
