He was obviously backed into a corner and started to act defensively. All the "information" about himself that he said was easily accessible by anyone. The only info I gave initially as my son was drafted by du as and his agent was pat Morris. I've been and still am employed by the red wings organization. I sold my 5 restaurants and "retired" from work and work for leisure for the red wings.

I suppose the lesson here is that it's best to not give out any info if you don't want people to know who you are. Assuming you are who you say you are you've got it better than the vast majority of people on here and that's not including hockey connections. If that aspect of your story is true then it's even better for you. You don't need a bunch of goofs to believe you, you've got a great life.

Think about this from our perspective. We're all just a bunch of fans that like talking hockey. Lots of people come in here and give fake rumours to be funny. That's almost a daily occurrence at times. There's plenty of reasons for us to be skeptical. You step in and give some rumours that quite honestly sound very unlikely (Lupul one). Why wouldn't we question it? At that point you should've just let your rumour do the talking. If Lupul gets dumped with assets we won't need to know who you are, we'd know you're legitimate.

That's my take on it.
