I dunno, some one was saying that he's injury prone. - the_eye #
Not quite Lupul territory yet - but broken hand last year and separated shoulder this year. Do you recall how many times #99 was injured during his career.
I'll give you a hint 1487 games in 21 seasons, average = 70.8 games a year

I think BB is signed for another year after this one. I hope we keep Ross, he's still young and good off the bench, but with the way Powell has been playing, I see Ross tradeable ..
We still need a legit PF. - MCharisma91
Give me a name that I'd recognize as a legit PF. Otherwise I have no idea on what this means.
I just think highly paid young guys are tough to keep when I've heard all this talk about Kevin Durant.

Eventually, yes, and that's fine, but there's so much of the world that isn't even remotely close to being on par technologically... hell, over half of the countries on this planet can't even feed themselves. - BINGO!
thats part in due because of the capitalist plutocracy we've created..
i dont know how selling them oil is a solution... seems to me like if they have a renewable energy it would be a big step forward for them. |

d'ya think?
young people are far less prejudice, especially in urban areas... it'll be another 25 years before America elects someone who will be truly revolutionary... gotta love Sanders for trying tho.. |

Uhh no
Because after all the damage the cons have done all it would take for him to vote for them is to have a "reasonable" candidate...
Harper and the cons are (frank)ing criminals... disguising religious egomaniacs hellbent on making canada and oil-plutocracy... Mandatory minimum sentences for drugs possession..
its sickening what they did to Canada... The whole world hated us when he was in power. Trudeau is the (frank)ing man, and Canadians will continue to vote for him because they see that he's genuine. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I met Trudeau, the first week of the election, and spoke briefly to him. He seemed to be honest and believed in what he was saying. I also saw him in the last week of the election. He had mastered the photo-op and you could tell that he had momentum. Saying that, I also saw Harper, during the second week of the election. When you've been in power for almost 10 years, the electorate clamors for change. It was his time and with the Duffy scandal, I knew that it wouldn't end well. The Conservative vote actually held to the same level as for when he received his last majority government. It was the NDP vote that had collapsed. It was the second leaders debate, when Mulcair made his mistake, dragging up the character of Pierre Trudeau. Justin carefully worded his response, about how proud that he was about his father and his accomplishments. The look on Mulcair's face told me that he had just been impaled. It was the turning point of the last federal election.
Harper actually had great accomplishments in his time in office. He skillfully guided Canada through the world's economic downturn. He used his stimulus money skillfully, rebuilding bridges, roads and military installations. When the Chretien/Martin era had run it's course, the local barracks and hangers at CFB Trenton were dilapidated and run down. The military were renting cargo planes from Russia and had none of their own. Under Harper, the military, the railroads and many of the highway systems were upgraded. For all of his warts, he did a good job under trying circumstances.

I think that there is little, if any, chance the Leafs will trade down for more picks this year, with it being far more likely they will package picks to move up. The main reason for this, is that over the past year the leafs have been building up their prospects pool, and are starting to run into the issue of hitting their max 50 contracts. With many of the prospects doing well, there just isn't the room in the contract pool to add too many more. |

if by "(frank)ed up" you mean "can't win without getting legitimately voted in" then yes it's completely (frank)ed up - DoubleDown
I haven't by any means done any meaningful research on the system in the US so a lot of it is just flat out confusing.
The most obvious case being the delegates thing with Sanders v Clinton in Wyoming (I think?). He got something like 12% more votes but she got almost all the delegates? And wasn't Cruz just like... given all the delegates in Arizona? (Might be another state around there)

That's great. It's in (frank)ing Germany.
Let's just make some huge batteries to transport it here!
Of course, the batteries are made of plastic... which requires oil... |

So fracking is good for the environment? Read up on the geological effects. - RickJames77
what?!?!
omg no..
man, a little fact about me.. Ive spent the better part of the last half decade on fracking sites.. you dont know the half of it.. the media only sees the reports, they arent actually on the ground. im 100% against fracking.. its the worst thing you can do.
i was just showing you where the US energy will be coming from, not advocating for it. I don't at all agree with the US energy policy. |

renewables are the way of the future...
whether it be wind, solar, nuclear fusion etc...
bye bye oil... - Arctic_AARDVARK
Wind has been proven to be very inefficient. The cost of the wind turbine and the amount of power that it generates makes it less cost efficient. Nuclear is by far the cheapest. Solar is making great strides but has a way to go. I had a small wind turbine, on my house, but it just didn't generate enough energy to make it worth it's while. I put 6 solar panels on my house and can generate 1kw. It pretty much powers the house, in the daylight hours. I tried to net meter, but the hydro company made it too costly to do so. When I first hooked it up, I had 13kw of energy that they owed me. They blocked my meter and told me that I had to have a second meter hooked up, at a cost of $450.00, plus another $400.00 to inspect the wiring on my array. I'd never get that money back, in 20 years, so I just give it up free back to the utility. So much for the green power initiative that the Ontario governments tout. The Utilities commission are about selling you the power to make a profit, not taking it back and paying you. To make it pay, you need at least 10kw to offset the cost of the hookup. |
