The magnitude of what it represents, the rejuvenated interest in the team, merch sales, ability to draw FA's... it's a cascading affect of awesomeness. My wife and I were invited by Tom Bitove to the first ever Raptors game at the Metro center in Halifax. It was a pre-season game between the 76ers and the Raptors. Court side and got to meet a bunch of the players. Very cool. Raps won.

But yes, if the Yotes offer you OEL, Strome and their 1st...... (Huge overpayment - but its what the trade chatter has been about), I bet the leafs would take it.
Again, they wont be trading the 1st...but there are many possible trades packages from a couple of teams that could entice them to do so. If any of those teams wanted to overpay.

Mandatory minimum sentences for drug use is insane.. its counter productive. Our return to prison rate is sky high here because they learn how to be criminals in prison. They dont counsel them like in some European countries...
