I know this is all just topical discussion fodder but there's no way and no package that would convince the leafs to move that 1st overall.

A more interesting discussion is what the Leafs can do to move up with the 2nd pick. They have a poop ton of assets to use.

Connor McDavid is the only package they would take for that 1st overall. The magnitude of what it represents, the rejuvenated interest in the team, merch sales, ability to draw FA's... it's a cascading affect of awesomeness. Taking a pile of poop from Arizona or any other team for that matter in exchange for that 1st would be the biggest blunder ever made in hockey.

I dont get them.. they have been getting the best starting pitching in the entire league ... Bullpen sucks or the bats suck
