Bodys were bouncing around, i wouldn't say he hid he was throwing at them. The only real coward in that i would say is Bannister for running his mouth as much as he was. Defs wasn't a sucker punch either just beat Bautista to the punch imo

Just general procedure in the NHL. It's very rare to see teams mix the 2 when building a roster. Leafs and wings have both gone very heavy swede where other teams have gone heavy fin. Look up a few teams, even within the minor system....you'll find a lot more of one than the other.

Leafs won't take Laine over Matthews. Typically teams that carry swedes don't mix in fins. It's either one way or the other, seeing swedes and fins don't get a long. This is probably why kapanen won't get an equal shot to play with the big club; it may also have to do with him being an over rated prospect as well...but the focus is and always has been swedes in Toronto.

I am a Bautista fan - so bias stated up front. If you watch the replay. Bautista, gets shoved in the chest, is off balance and a punch lands right on the chin - I would classify it as a sucker punch - because there was no fight until that blow landed - Bautista approached but did not raise a hand. Beltre is right there and a second punch misses. Bautista - did not land a blow - did not have opportunity to. He is being restrained the for the rest of the brawl. Pillar comes in guns a blazing but Odor is behind 3 Rangers. Donaldson got ejected because he tackles Odor and I assume gave him a couple of nuggies on the bottom of the pile in the middle.
