Love em both. Need toughness. Doesn't hurt to have a Randy Jonhnson or a Larry Robinson on your team. Or even a Wendel Clark to protect a guy like Gilmour when other teams take liberties. This game was the worst sports has ever made me feel. It absolutely sucked. On the positive, I learned a big lesson that night about how its just a game and also it eventually led to the I-wouldn't-believe-it-if-I-didn't-know-better trio of Mitch Marner, William Nylander and Auston Mattews. You could say it was the best thing that ever happened - just didn't seem like it at the time.

Mah, he's really overrated in his own end. Big guy, hell of a shot, lots of hits....



...but lots of hits = scrambling to retrieve the puck, and he's got a pretty awful GA/60 (like Jack Johnson awful).


He's a useful defenseman to have out there (especially on the PP), but he's not one of the elite...

Brad Marchand, superpest gritty poophead, is 5'9" and he's the kind of guy taking liberties out there.

It's up to the player(s) to decide if they want to be a gritty poophead or not.

The big skilled guys are using their size and reach to score goals, not run guys into the boards; this is not Sega NHL 95 out there anymore.
