Yarp.
Not sure why people say we have to move one of them. Pou and McJebus work well together and Maroon's contract is a steal for what he brings.
Keep them both. - Wildschwein
Absolutely
Poo can play effectively on any line. In A checking role and/or with nuge/Connor
Start him on the 3rd if we're lucky enough to have a logjam at left wing and then he can move up when injuries happen
I actually think poo is a pretty key part of any success we might have |

In summary.
Pouliot is the best winger by far. Especially since his success seems to be on any line he is part of.
Maroon is ok.
Yak is terrible.
Ebs is ok.
I would like to see Poo McD Leon. I think that line would be the best two way line we have seen in a long long time.
But all this talk is just speculation because it's expected that someone gets traded for a defenseman before next season anyways. That will determine more of the line up than anything else. - Aerchon
Eberle is very good. But one dimensional and not necessarily needed with McDavid. Also expensive!
Pouliot is very good.
Maroon is just fine. |

The issue with keeping Pouliot and Eberle or adding 6.5 million dollar players like Okposo or Lucic is that there are monster resignings that will need to be done as early as next summer. Patrick Maroon by default might be the best option. Even with a raise in his next contract, he isn't going to get much more than 4mil, if that. - seoinyoung
I think any proposals of big name forward additions (Lucic/backes etc) is kind of pie in the sky
Just not really feasible
Prob spend money on defence mostly. and if we do move one of the big contracts, he'll probably be replaced with a cheaper middle 6 option that can somewhat replace that offence.

Pouliot consistently scores like a 1st liner at even strength. Not really useful outside of maybe net front on the PP. He's big, fast, skilled, strong defensively, and has a mean streak in him. Would love him in the playoffs.
Hall-Pouliot-Maroon-Hendricks is LW depth that I can more than live with. There was some rumoured deal around Yak+Pouliot for Vatanen+Maroon at the deadline but Pou was injured. There's the hard part, Pouliot's so useful but RD is so barren. Tough |

I thought he was out for months. Either way TB has been trucking through teams, wouldn't be a bad bet |

Vatanen. - Matt_Henderson
I wonder if that's still on the table... I would do that in a second. |

My pick to win the east and potentially the whole thing before Stam/stralman went down
But with those guys out and the way the pens are playin, abit hesitant now.
I heard that about him as as well, but he's been skating for awhile.
They both have actually
Was sorta under the impression he's probably back this series. But haven't heard much recently. Maybe I just bought the hype from earlier reports |

He is questionable for game 2. I think he will come back later tho, closer to game 4.
I wouldn't make that wager tho. I see a Pitts vs. San Jose final. |

Friedman says he's in play
Can't say I know too much about the avs, but it just seems ludicrous to move him |

The Oil should be going all in if he is made available. They can't be outbid on him. |

Agreed
From the little I've seen, he's brilliant offensively
Not like the oilers are very adept defensively or anything, but Barrie absolutely owned us in multiple games this year |

Team/Avi wager?
If I'm right, you switch your team/avi to Flames until the draft and if you're right I do the same.
If both of us are wrong it's a wash and nobody has to do anything... |

Barrie > Vatanen, Trouba, Demers imo.
I wonder what the Avs would want tho. Probably Nuge |

Stralman was skating at practice before their Game 5 victory. Seems possible he could be back this series. |
