This sucks...Injury to Bishop does not look good. I'd much rather see two healthy teams. - Scoyurj26
Yeah I was hoping for a skill and speed showcase, but now we have an * for this series. |

They are as bad as yoy guys crying about Letang - RafiDRW

With Letang back (for now), I hope Vasilevskiy can come in and supply a comparable level of competition for the series. Hockey is better when the level of play is high. |

Letang is back - drummer829
better hope he doesn't get clarke macarthur'd |

This is sad too. This isn't excited bishop out for series. Looks like a career changing injury. Not sure how goalies respond to tearing up there knee or something like that |

This is turning into an injury nightmare.
Now we get to see just how good Vasy is.
Vasy has the potential to step up and carry the load, let's see if he can do it.
Un-freaking-real. Bishop can't buy a break.

I'll believe he's "back" when he comes out for game 2. It seems more common than not that a player will finish a game and then find out he should have stayed out. |

Vasy is a great goalie, he'll be able to hold the fort just as well for you guys. |

Agreed. And Sheary is a turnover machine right now |

Yeah, I'd like to see him and Rust swapped until he can regain his confidence. |

That's a stretch. He's not even close to the puck handler that Bishop is. That could throw a wrench in their defensive zone and breakout strategies. |

He had a great series against NYR. He's not looking like the guy though. |

Vasy has major skills, but he lacks experience. Now we get to see if he is really the second coming of Tretiak.
He can't move the puck like Bishop. Having Bishop is like having a 3rd defenseman. The Lightning will have to completely readjust their play in the D-zone to compensate.
