It's 9, not 7. Come back when it's a 7pm game on a non-holiday weeknight like you were female doging about. The Cup finals on the west coast start at 8:00. They don't want to have games past midnight on the East coast. Otherwise they would do it at 9 for the Cup finals.
- Wetbandit1

If you recall...after originally female doging about 7pm...i conceded that 9pm would be a more appropriate time

and i'm not talking about a Cup finals game

Seems they have said everything we have the past season.

Truth hurts but lets make us stronger GMTM.

Also........

Pushed down the depth chart by new Sabres acquisitions, 22-year-old Zemgus Girgensons has three years of NHL experience, but is still trying to find his niche in the lineup. Can he score enough to play in the top six? After seven goals and 18 points last season, that’s still in question.

Even if we don't get Stamkos, he has other players on his mind besides Teddy Purcell.

Nope he just wants to pat himself on the back again

Also they didn't want 9pm West Coast games going on when there were East Coast games starting at 7. They already overlap for a little bit as it is. But he feels the need to prop himself up.

Seriously, whoever wrote this needs hooked on phonics...They spelled Stamkos p-u-r-c-e-l-l in that lineup.

Big dummy...

Maybe we should just put Moulson with ROR and Kane

The projected lineup is awful though
- Sabresfan-365

He projected that we pick up Benoit as the 10th dman, why even bother making that assumption

Clayton keller??? Benoit? Tyler kennedy? Well it is tsn, its not like they were gonna say "steven stamkos is gonna look fantastic riding shotgun with eichel and reinhart". The second tier ufas like ericsson, okposo, and goligoski scare me. Those are guys that are gonna get 6-7 a year with term and im afraid that gets us to- maybe playoffs with a quick first round exit. And then we cant do anything but ride it out until some contracts fall off. hopefully theres trades and not just throwing ufa money at meh.

I get the fear in the 6-7 mil a year long term deals with 30 year old dmen but the prospect depth isn't great Guhle, Martin, Florentino, off the top of my head that's about it (potentially the 8th pick). Paying a Goligoski in my opinion is better than dealing for Vatanen, giving up picks/ players and then giving him a big deal

Keller's the only one that isnt so ridiculous. He'd still be a stretch at 8 but he's shot up the draft rankings and if say 2/3 best d-men in this draft are off the board and Murray doesn't like choice #3 it wouldn't shock me if they took him. Everything ive read suggets he has a ton of upside.

Well last year he gave us Condra....and we wound up with O'Reilly so maybe its a good thing they've sold us way short here.

Being in the east has many advantages I get to watch my shows before anybody else and I can spoil it for my friends like the East Coast people do to me when I'm in the West

Live it up, junior.

It won't be long now before you trade in all your lofty ambitions and "what if" dreams about "endless possibilities" for that imaginary but oh so real weekly clock that's counting down to Friday afternoon's early Happy Hour, and the hope that this might be the weekend that the kids are all out of the house when the wife has had one glass too many of Chardonnay, and baby oh baby its the green light!

Old isn't an act, its inevitable, and its real. Deal with it. There is no "safe place"

It's more the being able to make it to 12 or 1 on some nights for a lot of people. I don't have that problem as 4:30 is just a "bit" after my normal bedtime. But I don't have kids and I know that's a huge drain on your energy. I envy the people who can fall asleep at a reasonable hour. I never have been able to.

Not a bad pick up at 8th overall. If they decided to keep the pick he'd be in my top 3 choices.

Thank you. It's Thursday. Only about 17 hours before I meet with a few of my acquaintances I'll call "buddy," and we all get to work putting a little blur into this week's complications.
