just listening to the radio this morning about the sharks getting ready for game 7 the dudes on the radio said they hope the fans get as crazy as in philadelphia because they specifically remember being at flyers caps series a few years ago and mentioned how intimidating they can be for opposing teams

See everyone we have the best fans THE BEST. Believe it!

We also apparently have the #1ranked anthem singer in the NHL. When was that vote taken?

I prefer it when people just ape McKenzie's consensus rankings verbatim.

His are probably more accurate to what actually happens because he's got sources. Pronman is just going on his feel.

I take each one with a grain of salt because everyone has their bias

Not surprised at all. Flyers need to find a way to take some of the load off of him.

Will be interesting to see what Hextall does to address this. I really liked Cousins game but I'm not sure he is the right fit for the Center ice vacancy on this team. If Helm is available I'd hope Hexy takes a shot at him. If not, another interesting name is Shawn Matthias. The "third line" was missing an identity all season long and it can't be next season. It's going to be a tough call whether they can roll the dice with Cousins or bring in someone they can trust to absorb more critical minutes.

Without having seen him much, I see Matthias as another Gagner type. But I would look into Helm.

yes...there have been a few articles but one of them showed he was basically the best Selke candidate but will not get consideration
- YuenglingJagr

Ah yes now I remember the purpose of the article. Was written only couple weeks back.

I've always liked Matthias' game from what I've seen. I think he's more comparable to Adam Hall(earlier in his career) than Gagner. But I haven't watched his career closely enough to determine why he has bounced around so often in recent years. Could certainly use his size 6'4, 230.

I'm thinking at some point it might behoove the Flyers and Leafs to do a one for one prospect trade.

Flyers should just make lack of size a requirement if they were to do that.

Hagg for Marner
Hagg for Nylander
Hagg for Kapanen

Let them choose.

Not saying that..Marner is a pretty dynamic prospect but I dunno how many more sub 6 foot 200 lb players the team could handle.

I was kinda thinking Sanheim for Marner or Nylander but if you could pry one out for Morin I'd definitely do that.

Size is irrelevant when you're getting such a far superior player.

That's the best you could do and you'd have to throw in a 2nd.

Hagg + 2nd for Kapanen...deal.

Think we could get Marner/Nylander if we overpaid with a second plus a third?

It would need to be Sanheim or Morin + something else pretty good. Nylander and Marner or elite level prospects like a Provorov.

I'd definitely make that.

Leafs have an over abundance of above average forward prospects. They have like one legit NHL D prospect.

I don't know.

I feel like Kapanen has lost some luster. Hagg for Kapanen seems like a solid deal. I would even think about Laughton for Kapanen.
