Good. Made it myself. Ground turkey. Soft and hard shell variety. Lettuce and a medium spice fresh salsa from the store. I was satisfied. I will grill up some racist chops another night. - Mononoke
Glad you henjoyed. I know the turkey is healthier, but I much prefer beef |

How sick would it be if he ends up top 4 material - Giroux_Is_God
Bro. Dream bigger. He's going to be the best d man on the team besides Provorov. Two of them are gong to be vintage Suter-Weber but better. |

Great contract? Nah.
Bad contract? Meh. He's an elite 2-way Selke caliber center who scores at about ~50 points. He's still young. His contract ends the same age year as Giroux's. He's a terrific all around player, and I don't think that will change, even if the 10 year contract was whacky. Phaneuf was always overrated and his play is dropping off a cliff. I see Staal providing good value for much of the next 7 years. Still one of the most underrated guys in the league. It's a doozy of a contract. but it's for a great player. Better than for a mediocre player. - Mononoke
I'm not going to lie , I was glad the Pens traded him. $6 million for
a 2nd line center seems excessive for a lower revenue team. My debate in my head is would a team invest 5 years or more for lucid or Ericsson for 5.5 million or more. On the other hand invest a little more term for a two way center. Granted I'm comparing wingers to a center. |

Staal's offensive numbers don't show his true value. He's basically Couturier. If the Canes just wanted to dump his contract, a smart, contending team would scoop him up. |

Coots becomes a FA at age 29...coming off a $4.3 AAV contract. What an awesome deal...but that next contract could be $6+ if he continues to trend up. I won't claim to know what contracts will be like in 6 years. It could be more. |

Honestly I hope the plan is not to be satisfied having Bellemare and cousins occupy the last two center positions. I'm good with one but not both. Need more of a threat at the 3C spot. Who that could be? Not sure

His Memorial Cup games will be on NHLN if you wanted to watch. Can you imagine him facing off against Provy? Or defending London's top line? Omg. This gonna be exciting. |

Personally I'm good with neither as 3-4. Cousins could be a good 4C perhaps....game wouldn't look out of place there. And a 4C who can score 25 points is legit. I like Nielsen as a stop gap. But that future 3C might just have to come in this draft. I wouldn't mind Raffl at 3C, but I don't think that will happen and he is probably more valuable as a winger. |

I guess we'll see how well Hextall can balance patience with the kids and signing FAs to timely, frugal contracts. - tangent_man
A 2nd line or 3rd line center would help............I think |

How do we get Arvidsson - Giroux_Is_God
By drafting a good player knocked for their size.
Also, when all else fails, draft solid Swedish (or Swedish league playing) players in later rounds. It's truly amazing how many Swede gems are found in later rounds. Hell, Raffl we signed and he was in Sweden's SECOND tier league. Look at Lindblom or others around the league. Draft out of Sweden. |

Agreed. I like raffl as a 3rd line winger. Really need to come up with a game plan where G is not in the top 3 taking faceoffs in the entire league.

Goal #1- Weber just...decided to not cover the front of the net, and instead wanted to lay in the crease
Goal #2- (Josi??) with a brutal neutral zone pinch
What are they doing out there? |
