I love Makitas. Best drill/impact driver for the price.

Milwaukee the best though.

Sweet. I had a Weimaraner growing up as well. A very large 122 male. And we had a Cocker Spaniel while our kids were growing up. Both fantastic dogs.

She, I assume, may put on a little more poundage. pretty..

Vladimir Tarasenko has to lead the NHL in most playoff goals called back. He's already had 5 this one alone

I was okay with the Bobby Ryan trade. Not happy with the signing a year later, far too much term. On the other hand, the Dion Phaneuf trade appears to be an highly inspired deal that can only get a lot better for the Sens. He has had a very positive impact on Ceci. I really like the Ottawa D going into next year and Phaneuf as a #4 is a remarkably good fit.

I note that Phil Kessel is in the running for the Conn Smyth as he continues to be the driving force for what many say is the best line in the Stanley Cup playoffs. I think there are still a few good pieces on what remains of the Leaf carcass.

Toronto has to be the only place where the solution to not having enough talent is to trade away the players with the most talent (like Kessel)

Now I read some guys on here want to trade JVR, Kadri etc.

Kessel was miscast here. He is not and never will be a team leader, guy who will block a shot or even finish a check.

He is a guy however who can generate goals.

Still don't think he should have been traded.

People seem to think they could of gotten more. Don't they think the leafs would of if they could of??

If they didn't trade him they would of gotten 3rd last and dropped To 5th like the Nucks and Kessel would of gotten another 60 points losing more value.

- Santo_44

Part of negotiating a deal is convincing the other side to give up as much as possible. A better negotiator can get more. Dubas was very green, and got taken to school. Same thing is going to happen in Arizona with their new guy, and I for one hope Lou takes advantage of it.

Your second point assumes that the ping pong balls would have went the exact same way. For all you know, Leafs coulda finished 1 point shy of the playoffs and won the lottery.

I dont think it had anything to do with talent.

It was about changing a losing culture. A flawed and soured culture. A losing culture. Making players accountable. Elevating the teams work ethic. Fixing the mess between players-fans-media. Maturity. Commitment to physical fitness. All that jazz.

Word of the day kids. Culture.

I'm glad he finally dropped the "Leafs Fan" charade and admitted he's a Sens homer.

Aparently he used to be a Leafs fan. (I don't buy it). But ditched them for sucking.

And the solution was....the Sens.

No one is regretting the trade. But let's all agree that he wasn't as useless or cancerous as the media in Toronto made him out to be.

I'm rooting for the Pens to win it all. Kessel for Con Smythe!

I didn't know what you all meant by how much snow certain areas get till last winter

Maybe not as much, but it was too much for us to handle, which I imagine creates similar issues faced in certain areas of Canada.

My area got about 115 inches in about 5 weeks.

I get what you are saying and agree to some extent.

But I would have been curious to see what our $8 M a year coach would have done with Kessel. It's Babcock's job to change the culture and so far I think he has done so very well.

The trade had to be made.
The Leafs got fleeced.

The blog was bad. It reads as if it was written by the Toronto media.

I hope Kessel leads the Pens to a cup, wins the Conn Smythe and then has a press conference where he tells the Toronto media to kiss his ass.

Only if he has a hot dog in his hand and calls some guy an idiot.
