Was at Dallas vs Caps game a couple of months ago, was really impressed by the arena, fans and city in general.... plus two of the best attacking teams in the league on the ice at the same time...

People are still upset over the return on the Kessel deal? Don't let the fact the two parties have moved on with mutual benefits cloud what happened last year. The Leafs were trading with one team. There wasn't a better deal and Kessel needed to go.

As I said yesterday, no one should care. It's all history now. Leafs are in a much better position going forward and Kessel as well.

Good for both parties.

As for what came back, it was fine, got rid of Kessel which was the biggest return. Addition by subtraction.

There is no reason to regret the trade at all. Unless you're disappointed in getting Matthews.
