Negotiate high. Vatanen has to be included. Ask for Gibson and a 3rd, then 'settle' for Andersen.

If the Leafs never draft any goalies because it will take too long for them to develop, they will never have a good young goalie.


The Leafs should draft a couple this year, and next. You can't hit the target if you never shoot.

True - and I agree. But this team will be ready to rock and roll before a goalie drafted this year is ready to be a number one goalie. Therefore a trade is likely and inevitable.
