Yeah, and with Kadri, JVR, Rielly a year older...starts to look interesting. Not to mention Brown, Sosh. And the Komagod.

The Leafs are (frank)ing stacked...

Anyone who doesn't see that is stupid.

Yeah, in the end this was just a trade that had to happen and worked for both sides. Toronto had to change things. Keeping Kessel would just be a roadblock to the overhaul they had to make. And hey it worked out for the Pens.

Nothing wrong with a win/win scenario. If the Pens go all the way then good for Kessel. He scored, and scored for years in Toronto, but the team wasn't made to win.

The Leafs have made trades that blew up on them, but this isn't one of them.

Toronto teams winning playoff games recently, so weird. It's like seeing a herd of sasquatches.

They're real, i've seen them (Bobo)..

Speaking of wildlife encounters in real Canada (unlike you southern wannabes) i took the whippet to the gravel pit today for a run. He was kinda acting strange and started barking. He ran towards the treeline and a pack of (frank)ing coyotes came out of the woods to attack him.. luckily for the dog i fended off the yellow-eyed bastards.. the big coyote was right on him snapping at him but i came to the rescue and got in between the two dogs.. the (frank)ing thing wasnt even scared of me.. it was about the size of a big german sheppard.. the whippet bolted back to the Jeep and 5 coyotes just stood there looking at me.. thats when i kinda got worried.. i picked up a stick and they all started barking.. it was unreal.

Yes win win for both teams. Though at one point this year Pittsburgh was regretting the trade. And Kessel is a ton of contract for a lot more years.

Probably should have gotten more for kessel but you needed the tear down. Pittsburgh did not have any more assets to give up.

The lone mistake in the trade (and it can't be confirmed) are rumors that you could have plucked murray in the trade.

Could you imagine Babcock and Kessel trying to coexist with the same scenario as the year before ?

German shepherd sized? That's a Coy-wolf. Coyotes are typically pretty small.

I've been tracked by small packs of Coyotes on my trail down to my fishing hole a few times. Always really early just before dawn. One morning I had an encounter with one that was large like you said "German Shepherd" sized. It was really being brave which was unusual for a single yote (although there's a high likelihood that there were more hidden from view) Freaked me out a bit.

I called the MNR as this is an area that's frequented by kids and old ladies walking they're dogs. I described my encounter and the size of the yote. Guy I talked to wasn't surprised at all. "Sounds like you had a meeting with a big wolf/coyote hybrid" he said.

Since that experience I've seen them on a few occasions tracking deer. I'm still in awe of their size.

The difference between you and I are staggering. You picked up a stick and was prepared to fight them off. To protect myself, I would have tried to suck them off.

Ya man.. they are brave little (frank)ers..

Im almost certain thats what they were.. had a wolfy looking face too.. i wouldn't want them hanging around popuated areas. I think my step-dad and his friends are gonna go shoot them.. they'll just over populate and become a problem.
