McDavid has had 1 year where he missed time with an injury. Kane is a 7 year vet and he's missed significant time in almost every one. It all depends what happens these next two years. If he has 2 similar years of 20 goals, 35-45 points and wants to resign at 5-5.5 mil, sure. I'd just be very wary of giving him a huge deal.

I honestly don't get what McDavid has to do with anything. Even if you count his injury in two straight years, he doesn't have half the injury history Kane does.

I mentioned other power forwards who are physical. That seem to have no issue staying healthy. For some reason people think that if you hit people and go to the net it's OK to miss 20 games a year

You will always hate Evander because of the trade . He plays really aggressive style . Probably one of the best forecheckers in the league . You are right . He gets dinged up . Hopefully he can find a way to be a little more durable . But he sure does create space for those playing with him.

I don't hate him. I don't like the trade, but Kane is a good player. He just isn't going to be worth a big deal that he probably will want down the road.

I didn't bring it up, I responded to someone else who said they didn't think Kane would be back past his deal
