I thought Cali wasn't called on first penalty but 4:00 PP now let's go! - nyisles7
Could tell from the first face off of the pp that the Isles were going to become lifeless with this powerplay. Someone either on the ice or the bench needs to motivate this damn team |

I think they've already gone into the Cappy prevent defense. |

OMG so important to get one there
Could give the Bolts a little momentum after that kill. |

At this point it would be great if they could just stay in the (frank)ing offensive zone! - JimmyP
Brutal PP. |

A little! That was huge for them. Killing that off at the end of the period, a period where they got outplayed. I bet they are pretty happy in the locker room right now being down just one. |

There's just no aggression. This 'system' is supposed to be predicated on forechecking/pressure but they're so tenative. I would love to hear a collection of audio from multiple intermissions just to hear if ANYONE, coach or players ever show fire in that lockeroom. |

It's so sad that still, nothing will be adjusted on the PP.
You need 2 dmen who can pinch control the point. All they have going in an extra forward who isn't capable of manning the point, and instead wants to go down to to where he should be but that spot is occupied. It's killing this team. The only shots they get from the point are by accident |

Agreed, totally out played kill off a 4 minute PP and only down 1-0 again has to have them come out with a different attitude in the 2nd. Islanders need to keep skating and play the same way without any let down!

Yet we all know how they typically come out of their intermission. The Cappy Snooze will be on.... |

Unfortunately when I saw they couldn't even get a chance on a four minute power play I thought "there goes the game". Hopefully I'm wrong. |

It was frustrating to watch 4 minutes of the Islanders being outworked and outhustled. It's like they figure that a pp allows them time to relax. |

Can't imagine having to come in cold, let alone cold on a (frank)ing PP
He did what he needed though. |

What a relief. Bailey continues to take the body and is very active. |
