Not sure if everyone already noticed this, but Winnipeg and CBJ were they only two teams to not pick in the slot they had the highest percentage to land. Both Edmonton and Van fell to the exact spots the odds said they would. Pretty crazy.

My best guess is Marner stays with the leafs.

If he is playing well and so are the leafs into december, he stays with the leafs. If he is struggling and not getting a ton of minutes he gets loaned to Team Canada for the world jrs, and probably returns to the knights.

I think he surprises a lot of people and sticks with the leafs all year and plays well. His playmaking will be second to none, just need someone on the team that can finish.
