They're promoting the draft, the Leaf angle is just a bonus for them. Toronto is most likely the primary city for their ratings. They've always pumped up the 1st overall pick, of every draft. They would have had positive reviews regardless of performance for McDavid, MacKinnon, Ekblad, etc.

Tbh, i dont care about team Canada or how they do. Id rather them break down Matthews play anyways.. They'll talk about whatever makes people tune in.. so really you're just mad that so many people are excited about the Leafs getting a sweet player.

While I can't understand for the life of me why Garf has been able to elevate himself into a paid to write position, let alone one where he is given a permanent feature. I don't get why anyone gets really overly bent out of shape reading his nonsense. I actually find it entertaining and comforting to know that in reality..... Garf is the one who obviously loses the most sleep over the subjects he writes about. His obsession must be all consuming.

Since we (Leaf fans) are his obvious target audience. I think we should just take a step back and let someone else do the whining and tattling if necessary. he's obvioulsy been given carte Blanche and we as a collective group will probably just attract more of the same nonsense if we start rallying to have him reprimanded.
