I can see it being tough for Marner to make the team. Realistically we alreqdy have nylandwr, Matthews, and zaitsev with spots. That's 3 rookies already. Hyman, Sosh, brown, harrington could also make the team. Can't run with all rookies. Can they?

If Marner outplays any of the latter players you mentioned in Camp, I'd rather see him play for the leafs and keep one of them down in the minors. It's possible that Marner's development could be hurt more by staying in the Jrs than someone like Hyman staying in the A.

We'll know more after he plays 9 games for the Leafs though.

He cut out the BS this year and scored 37 goals. If he wasn't so concerned about being a d-bag, he could probably do that a lot.
