I listened to Augello's conversation with Bill Watters, which I always enjoy. He seems quite ambivalent about Matthews and pointedly enthusiastic about Laine. At several points he seems to insinuate that Mark Hunter might look beyond Matthews. But he concedes what I think is true, that teams with the first pick pretty much have to take the presumptive top prospect.

I don't know anything whatsoever about prospects other than what I read. Somebody convince me that Matthews is not a Yakupov or Johnson first overall, that he's a no brainer home run first overall. Watters is freaking me out.

Besides whoever the f(rank) Lindgren is I dont think I didn't to bad.

I'm not sure he'll be a power guy like say Getzlaf but there should be no worries about him being soft or small or not having the tools to be an elite #1 center. Hopefully he can make it happen in the NHL but he shouldn't be seen as more of a gamble than Laine. Or an inferior talent.

I read something today that said the Swiss league is better than the finish league. Dunno if there's any truth to that but I'll take the guy who's well over a point per game supposedly solid defensively over the point producer under a pt per game.
