I don't trust his play for some reason. Looks to me like that's the best you are ever going to get from him. If he's there at the start of the season, they'll be looking to upgrade him as soon as he leaves the office after they tell him "You've made the team."

i dont think our D is as bad as come people make it out to be... we have a lot of young depth guys.. Carrick is slotted in at a 6/7 guy right now.. we all love him so how is that a bad thing?

Add a legit top 4 guy that can play with Rielly or Gardiner (Zaitsev with the other) and have a 3rd pair of Hunwick and Carrick.

I don't hate that D much at all.
