I find it weird.

I've since watched a few games and a few highlights of Matthews. From this past season. Mostly though I'm going by scouting reports online. But so many talk about his leadership and his drive to win. Example being that he chose to play among men. How can Watters not know all this too? I don't for one second believe he's seen Matthews play any more than I have. at the time I was okay with either Marner (future top line C/W) or Hanifin (future top pairing dman) .

with that being said, I'm very happy we took Marner. Nothing against Hanifin because he'll be a stud if he isn't already, but Marner is just insane.
