I don't know why, that's why I asked. Why not post it again then, fix it and post it? Again interference facts please. Based on real life, based on what the NHL said about the Letang hit, based on the fact at least 15 times during the game yesterday players were getting hit after moving the puck. If you get called for interference everytime you go hit someone and they pass the puck there is going to be an awful lot of penalties.
- Kucherovski

True. I'm not expecting anything called on that hit especially during Playoff OT. Maybe in the regular season? Like you said you probably call 95 of hits interference if they really wanted to

At least you make logical arguments with facts to back up your points. Boyle did not hit Hickey too late, they showed it with slow motion time and it was within the, unwritten 0.6 seconds after he passed the puck.

i would love to see this video. i find it very very hard to believe that the hit came within .6 after the puck was passed.

OK it didn't it wasn't highlighted. Why do you think I would take it down? For fear of retribution from you? Oh I'm so scared. You're so (frank)ing stupid

Did you read the article that The Hockey News wrote. You know the professional writers who write about hockey. You know more than them to don't you?

- Cptmjl

Make up your mind. The Hockey News article by Ken Campbell that said it was a bad call because it was a direct hit to the head? Was it a direct hit to the head, as The Hockey News wrote, or was it interference?

Real life huh? Well you read it supposedly through the broken link I posted through my phone and I supposedly took it down even though it was working because of why? I have a question for you. Why do you post here and not the Tampa thread? Why is it that all of your fellow fans don't like you? Why haven't you answered any of these questions yet? Do you think it may be because you're draining and irritating?

Why it can't be both? Can you put up link so we can fact check together?

WTF is this .6 second nonsense?
- kindlyrick

that is the number that the NHL deems to be a late hit after puck is released, although it is unwritten in the rule book, it is mentioned in just about every disciplinary hearing regarding a late hit.

I will try to answer all of your questions. After I do maybe post some interference or headshot facts, whatever you want. I post here because the Lightning are playing against the Islanders. My "fellow fans" don't like anyone who thinks different from them. In the summer I said Johnson stinks and won't have even close to as good of a season as last and I also said the Lightning should or may be trying to trade Drouin. They all went nuts because of both of those things. Did that answer your questions? Oh I do post in the Lightning one also, I missed that question.

I think they don't like you for the same reason that everyone else doesnt. You're obviously a loser with little to no knowledge of the sport who uses the word fact like a weapon and just because you add it in a sentence it makes it reality for you. I've been watching hockey probably longer than you've been alive you turd and have seen interference called for much less. Of course just like the debate we had yesterday I'm not fretting about this hit in fact I've stated numerous times I don't give a shat but you keep debating with yourself because you're so obviously desperate for attention. Nobody blames this loss on that hit. Nobody cares except for you. Get a life you loser

Except neither of these things are true. Johnson doesn't "stink" and using one down year in which he was oft-injured is a poor sample size. 11pts in 8 playoff games hardly qualifies you as a hockey player that "stinks".

And the Lightning were not "trying to trade Drouin". Drouin asked for a trade and the Lightning considered giving him what he wanted if a team could pony up the right price. Big difference between "trying to trade" someone and someone requesting a trade.

Yeah I don't know hockey at all. I played hockey for over 20 years, played it very competitive also. Say what you want, I've also seen hits like the one on Drouin called for roughing due to the initial contact is the head. The fact is the refs make calls and get them right, they make calls and get it wrong and they miss calls. Interference is not an obvious call like you're making it and because you've watched hockey for so long you think you know everything. Guess what, it wasn't called interference, the NHL isn't reviewing it, nobody on the Islanders even complained it was interference but because you said so I think it probably is.

Well I think it should been an interference penalty but that's not why we lost the game. Having your two worst defensive fwds out for that draw is why we lost that game. They played exactly as I expected them too in that situation. Okposo and Tavares just stood and watched as that goal went in to tie it up. Before it went to ot I knew it was over.
- Cptmjl

They lost the game because they gave up 5 goals in a playoff game. This isn't the run and gun 1980's. You can't give up that many goals in the playoffs and expect to win.

Oft injured? He played about 70 games. I used "stink" aggressive, nobody in the NHL stinks but what I was trying to say about him is he is not a 70+ point guy annually for an extended career. Time will tell but I stand by that opinion.

The summer talk about Drouin was I said they should try to trade him when his value was up and everyone said I was nuts, you don't trade a guy like Drouin. I said that because he had done NOTHING, really before these playoffs. I said maybe they try to trade him now because if he doesn't really become a very good player they don't get much so get what you can now. I may be wrong about that one, he is having a fantastic playoffs but again, time will tell if he can become a great, regular NHL player.

There was nothing even remotely dirty or illegal about Boyle's hit. Perfectly clean hit. Hickey rolled around on the ground in an attempt to lure the refs into calling a penalty, and he looked like a complete a$$hole when Boyle scored. Looked good on him
