I'm going to plead the fifth. I love Flower too much.

Well the Pens no longer look like the most futile team in all of hockey and have super stars coming out the wazoo. It's easy for a fan to get invested in this team.

But I hear about the Igloo vs CEC all the time. Why was the Igloo so much better? Location? Acoustics?

Well, the igloo was originally built to house the Pittsburgh symphony, so the acoustics were amazing. The dome kinda of trapped the sound in the building, so when it got rocking, it was deafening.

Who on earth is saying that????? I have to assume they are Caps fans if they want Fleury in over Murray right now...

Sid and Geno have been pretty mediocre by their standards. What a revelation it is to have quality depth.

The early talks about trading Flower I thought were way premature. I still think it would be best to have a killer 1-2 punch in goal next season. But at this point, it might be worth gauging Fleury's value in the off-season. Especially if we could sign or acquire a veteran goalie for under $2M. I'm not saying the Pens should do it, I love Flower, but I think they can listen. $5M can go a long way towards adding a good player + the trade return.

I like Fleury too, and he played extremely well this season.. but there is zero reason to put him in. Murray has earned that spot.

Evgeni Malkin had a fantastic game last night even if he didn't end up on the score sheet. Said it on his first shift that he had decided not to lose. If he plus like that tomorrow we win the game, cus he's gonna notch two.

I hope Sid didn't get his wrists hurt after the Ovechkin slash. You could tell he thought he was gonna be out for a while with his reaction, but he did come back
