I am so hyped right now. That was an exceptionally gutsy win. Didn't play their best hockey still & still frustrating at times, but got the job done. They rallied after an abysmal performance in game 3 that they really shouldn't have won & getting pretty much railroaded on the Letang suspension & having everyone talk about how they might as well have just forfeited tonight.

And I officially have a man-crush on Matt Cullen.

Okay... anyone here go to, or know anyone who goes to the away game "tv viewings" at Buford's Kitchen?

Thinking about going to that with some friends Friday... but dunno what its like. Only done big screen viewings outside.

What most of the analysts have missed with the Pens, and have been missing since this team started to roll is it's "team defense". The forwards are pressuring the puck in every zone. Other teams don't have time to make plays.

They still haven't figured it out and that's why so many predicted this team would crash without Letang.

By the way, I think the Pens out hit the Caps tonight. Had the better hits too.

honestly. its (frank)ing carl hagelin. so much. even strength as well. but he single handedly chews up maybe 30 to 40 seconds and 2 or 3 cleared zones on every PK himself.

Going to the game Saturday. So stoked! Not sure whether to wear the Black & Gold Crosby or the Red Team Canada Crosby sweater ... you know ... to "Rock the Red"

Calgary wanted Murray at the deadline. I remember Flames fans coming on here saying no way is he worth Sam Bennett. Guess what? He isn't ... he is worth more than Sam Bennett now.
- Oneonta Penguin

I mean if the caps offered Austin Matthews for Murray would you take that? Everything says its a no-brainer but he's 21 years old - just got a former number 1 overall pick and borderline HOF benched and likely traded while dominating the current vezina trophy winner. Seems like i'm drinking kool-aid, but every week he's just even better than you thought he was the previous week.

Its hard to win every year, as you know. I feel really bad for the Hawks since they don't have a slew of recent cup wins to think back to to soften the loss this year...oh wait ;-)

Seriously, I really hope we get to see a Pens vs Hawks final some day again...

There is no other SC Final opponent I'd rather play than Pitt.

Don't get me wrong - Philly, Boston, and Tampa were exciting match-ups, but I think that a Chicago - Pitt matchup would be historic. We had some pretty good games in early January.

Great job by Dumo to keep that puck in which led to the GW.

Panarin was outstanding against the Penguins during those two games.

I think Kuni is toast but I'll admit he had his best game in a month or more. I think that line in general was aided by Rusty's speed.

would you trade fleury (50% retained) and pouliot for the first overall pick?
a question asked to me by another fan.

that was the pens most physical game this season. Caps remind me of us the past few years with all the nonsense. Snow shower for Murray then ov talking poop to him. I mean4 games in its 3-1 you're not breaking us with that. Daley was great, Cullen is unreal and I thought Schultz played a good game as well. Geno line was buzzing early they're probably due next game. Was happy to see Webber be able to get the assist on that game winner.

Haha is it open 24/7 now or do they still look at you while they are "cleaning" or eating.... And your trying to make a sandwich and watch a sports game...

I was just there last summer, I'll be back there early 2017...

Stay safe

Yeah they just stare. I was at the flight line chow hall. It's pretty small so when I jumped and yelled, everyone stared at me like I was an idiot. The cool thing is I work with Canadien Air Force, so they can understand where I'm coming from.
Side note; few days ago I went in to bullpoop with them and asked how their teams are doing in the playoffs. They were all like "ooooooooo" lol. It's the small thinks that count out here.

Letang is going to mess up chemistry. Sit him for the rest of the playoffs and trade him in the offseason.

Sprong would've benefited greatly by playing down there all season. Wish the rules were different
