Two punches thrown at Geno's head... probably no call. Because he skated near Holtby.

Murray seems to be fighting the puck this game... Is it gitters from having Fluery behind him? He seems to be moving too far out of position...

Yes I don't get how Wilson can come flying in 5 seconds after the whistle grab our guy and pull him down from behind and its matching 2 min penalties.

Cole only protected himself there. Seemed clear Wilson was trying to get in a fight with Cole and take one of our dman off for 5 minutes. Essentially leaving us with 4 D.

Ya i thought Pouliot did some good things early, but he's bad lately.

How did we trade Scuderi for a sub-$4 million defense whose currently our #1D?

Why do we suck so bad at 4 on 4? We should be one of the best in the league...
- Victoro311

no idea. this whole game is slowly slipping away right now.

hats off to the team the way they played in the first though. that blew me out of the water. i thought sans letang they'd get their teeth kicked in.

guys like daley and cole are more than stepping up. cullen just being the veteran sage. the stars simply need to come out. kessel is routinely an inch or two away. crosby is cycling like a mad man, but the line just isnt finishing as a whole. malkin has the puck on an absolute string but really all its resulted in is a whole lot of so what?

Any other 2 goalies in net tonight and this is easily a 4-5 goals per team game.

I take back what I said in the first period. DP is quickly proving he should be the odd man out. I am legit looking forward to Wilson justifying why he should be playing in tomorrow's blog.

We deserved better fate in that second period. We should be up. Stupid TO by DP. This is why I didn't want him in the game.

Jonesy and Dingleberry actually think it's clean? I thought they'd love to propagandize and advance narratives.

Sid's play on the DP turnover was softer than baby poop.

only thing i'll say is its not necessarily all of his fault. he hasnt exactly been properly developed.

i'm not gonna totally trash him as a prospect because of an isolated sample size in a game in which he obviously isnt ready for. but make no mistake, he is not ready.

Schultz looking like he's gonna be tough to take out of the lineup.

So was Sheary missing his man... both of which are not at fault for the terrible turnover.

i dont know man. the second half they were just hanging on. they definitely miss letang.

still. all things considered if you would have told me they'd be tied going into the third at the beginning of the day, i'd have taken it.

stick with the process. lets go boys. help your goalie out here.

Me neither. He shows flashes and certainly isn't a bust yet, but he's not ready for the NHL playoffs.

sheary definitely missed his man. but i cant think of many players in the league who wouldnt have thought possession was simply a matter of fact there and try to join the play

Yeah, but DP and Sheary are going to have brain farts considering their rookie status. Sid with a half assed attempt to break up that pass was awful.

You can make all the excuses you want, but he's being outplayed by the 39 year old Cullen. Don't tell me the coach hasn't noticed 'cause he's sitting at 12 mins of TOI.

It was a rookie mistake but 9 times in 10 it's a non issue. I'd rather have him be aggressive there.

I'm just going to say Pouliot isn't ready for playoff hockey..... He needs to play the entire regular season no matter what.

At this rate, it's pouliot being traded. I just have a feeling he's going to trade pouliot in the offseason and try to resign Schultz
