Oh yeah, he made it to the finals last year. I'll rate him a little higher than I did.
Of course Ray Emery took the Sens to the finals, and he's a backup now.

You realize Price has never made it that far...and that Lundqvist has had a much better career than Price to date.

Right?

If that's what going on between MB and Therrien, I don't wanna go there. lol

Leaf fans have been through these same regime types for many years, but never gave up on the team regardless. Speaking of the excuses of course.

MB has to man up and make himself more accountable for his failures. He has the credentials, and did a good job in Chicago. Why not in Montreal? Could the Molson family be meddling in hockey operations, not letting MB build the team he wants to?

- Scrooge

I'm not so sure he had THAT much to do with anything significant in Chicago? I think he was just cutting his teeth in management with them? I'm not 100% sure though??

I think MB being exposed countless times this season made him somewhat recluse and jaded? Hence his homeless, no playoff beard! LOL!

Molson stepped in on the Subban signing, but Molson was on the podium with the other 2 knobs and stood behind MB's plan (or whatever you wanna call it??)

I really have no answers because the whole situation is messed up.....

Oh I do. The Rangers also have had a much better squad the last couple of years.
Not so much so, before then.

Put Price in net for the Rangers, and they likely would have won the cup. Not knocking Lundqvist. He's real good too. Still give the edge to Price though.

Yeah, Bergevin was like an assistant GM in Chicago. It was still Stan Bowman and his Dad calling the shots.

It is a messed up situation right now, and also being a Leaf fan I can empathize believe me! It's not something they can't bounce back from I don't think. With Price back, and a couple of key additions, I believe they could be back into the playoffs next year.
