When BB gets mad he can be very productive. He looked like a Conn Smyth candidate the first few games of that Ottawa series in 2012 till he ran into Chris Neil. |

Yeah, Hickey was trying to sell one in OT.
Its just ridiculous he throws a devastatingly clean hit on Drouin and then tries to do that poop in OT. Come on dude, man up. - mdw7413
Oh I wish we would have had Goring's take on that, "what a travesty, dirty hit & it cost the Islanders the game." |

Is the Isles thread saying its Capuanos fault? Always gives me a chuckle that when they lose its always on the coach haha |

I guess cause Cappy had JT & KO out there. The guys aren't known for their good defense. |

I went to the game, it happened right in front of me (and below). At the time I thought it was a horsesh!t missed called, but when I got home and saw the replay I had no issue with it. Don't really disagree that Hickey tried to sell it either.
The Drouin hit ruled, too bad we lost or I'd be sitting here watching clip after clip of it and laughing in an evil manner. Can't believe he came back in the game so late, that was odd. |

Doesn't that suck? When you lose a playoff OT game it's heartbreaking, even if its a fast paced, exciting game (like last night) you want no part of watching replays or highlights from the game, just move on. But if you win, you revel in it & can watch the winning goal over & over again 25 times. |

I guess the quiet room worked for him.. Was kind of weird because you would think if he was out that long he got his bell rung really bad. I was shocked he came back. |

I watched the Tavares goal that clinched the Panthers series about 43 times the next day
Last night when we got back to my apartment, we flipped the TV on and it defaults to Time Warner NY1 (which is the worst local news station in the history of television) and as soon as the TV flicked on the first words out of the guys mouth were "and Brian Boyle of the Lightning scored the game winner in overtime". I almost threw the remote through the TV |
