The Blues have not won a second round playoff game at home in fourteen years. - bcallaway
Time to end this streak. |

Right? Talk about the "due" factor........
I'd like to see them put two full out games together on this home stretch and grab this series. |

Cheer them on for me tonight Carcus
8:30 starts are no good for my work schedule and I cant go to sleep if I start watching
My Mother in law said something crazy to me last night, she compared Tarasenko's style of play to Andrew Shaw and I had to bite my tongue
One of the dumbest things I have ever been told by a hawks fan |

Oh yeah, they're exactly the same. I can hardly tell them apart by their style of game.

I'll go with the obvious statement here, but this one could be big. Stars just need to get one there, might as well be tonight.

Alright its time
Kris Letang is a dirty player
His hit on Johannson last night was needless and textbook interference and he should be sitting
It wasn't to the head but it was to a defenseless player as the puck was no where near the play
Letang should sit but he wont as he is a Penguin - sycsam
Should have been a major and it should be more games than Orpik because it was fueled by revenge and h left his feet.
That series is quickly devolving. Great way for the NHL to show case their ineptitude. |

It is big when the team is going for their fourth win. Otherwise it is the next shift is big. |

I'm the least objective person here to be commenting on Hawks players, but agree on Crawford. This was his best season in the NHL. Some really good goaltending happening in these playoffs -- Elliot, Murray, Jones - etchtech
Facts are facts and Crow was the best goaltender in the league this year in the toughest division in the NHL. |

Until they change the rules for the Calder it will never be relevant to me
Panarin can play 7 years in a professional league and come over and win the Calder is a bit salty for me.
He is a great player but he is not a rookie
So give it to Panarin and change the rules that you have to have less than 3 years of experience in any professional league
KHL AHL - sycsam
AHL is no different it is just pretend and practice leagues. Panarin is legit he played against the best in the NHL and improved Kane's scoring which is huge. The kid is a kid. If it were the KHL of old where the best Soviet talent played aure, but it is bary higher than the AHL. |

McDavid was a over a point per game player! Yes, he was injured and yes, that should hold some weight, but what he did when he was on the ice was awesome. I don't even like the guy all that much but still respect what he was able to do.
I understand you're all wah wah about Parayko not getting a nod. He is extremely talented, but he didn't change the Blues any more than McDavid changed the Oilers, to play on your metrics. I would say his impact on the Blues was less than McDavid's on the Oilers, because the Blues obviously have more depth and talent than the Oil.
Parayko will be a great player for many years to come. May even contend for the Norris a few times. I think the NHL got it right with the best three rookies. And because I know this is coming since I called you out for being a homer: Panarin is a rookie in the NHL's eyes. Their rules, not mine. If the rules were to disqualify Panarin for playing professional before the NHL, then Auston Matthews will never have a rookie season and never contend for a Calder Trophy! Interesting to think about. - pspork
I do not really care. I think Fabbri was top notch and deserved more consideration that McJesus. He played on a team that was relevant, not against the other teams' back up goaltenders night after night, against teams giving it their best and while playing for a contending team.
Mc David is a great player who can not stay healthy enough to qualify. His point totals are inflated because his team only plays 90 feet of the ice and coasts back to their zone. He did not go against the NHL's best jght after nght, and when he played against them most were not giving it their all because it was the Oilers.
So his point totals have little meaning. Parayko for instance could have went all offense. He would have found splinters and the Blues would have struggled. Not one regular season game with a healthy line up.
Panarin played against the best and made on of the best players better. He has the vision of Kane which as I said before that subhuman was drafted was the best I had ever seen.
